She understands my limitations, but makes sure I push those limits in a safe manner. She is caring and VERY knowledgeable about the workings of the body. I hit the JACKPOT finding Amanda’s Fitness when I returned to town after living elsewhere for a few years. First of all, you simply cannot beat the value. I was paying twice as much for half the time in a similar sized city elsewhere for a trainer who was not well-suited for my needs and goals to the extent Amanda’s Fitness has been. I have been working with Meg for about a year and 7 months and cannot imagine working out without her! I’ve gained both a great friend and a great trainer - both of which I needed. I’m not comfortable working out in gyms or in classes, so this has been a lifesaver for me. Meg is always punctual, understanding, encouraging, and appropriately challenges me to set and achieve realistic goals. It’s never boring! I really feel a lot better about myself, my health, and my body since training with Meg. I get so many compliments on how fit and healthy I am and that is additionally very rewarding. Anyone who can get me to work out over time without giving up knows what they’re doing! My schedule can be wacky, and I appreciate Meg’s flexibility and willingness to schedule ahead of time and help me get the most out of our sessions. I’m sincerely grateful to be a client and recommend this company 100% no reservations!

I contacted Amanda's Fitness in July 2020. She met with me very quickly and determined the best trainer for my specific needs. I have been working with Julie since then 2 to 3 times a week. I have had knee and shoulder surgery and was in pain and not in very good shape. Julie knew exactly the muscles to develop and after a while I was able to sleep at night without pain in my shoulders. The training has helped develop the muscles to protect knees, shoulders, and my overall fitness has improved substantially. She keeps it interesting by using different methods and has a great sense of humor

I began working out with Meg from Amanda's Fitness 4 months ago. Meg not only helps me reach my fitness goals but also works to strengthen me in a way to prevent injury. She is very knowledgeable about muscles and movements and emphasizes stretching before and after each workout. Meg is ALWAYS on time and is so easy to communicate with when I need to reschedule. She is so supportive while she's here and encouraging when she's not by texting and checking on me. I can't say enough good things about Meg and Amanda's Fitness!

Our daughter (the doctor) gave is a Duet gift certificate for Christmas in 2019. We were hoping for some chocolate or peanut brittle but got five sessions instead. Reluctantly, we scheduled our first session in January and Danielle arrived at our house full on energy and a BIG project in front of her. We are both 63 and definitely in need of a tune-up. We started slow and Danielle was very careful to make sure we protected our backs as both of us have had back surgeries. Slowly but surely we became stronger and more confident in the workouts and really started to enjoy them. We completed our gift sessions and immediately signed up for another six. In late February, we had a camping trip planned and asked Danielle if she would mind if we tried to do the sessions via FaceTime and she said she would give it a try. It went very well and little did we know at that time, we would be doing all of our sessions via the IPad due to the Mad Cow. Fast forward 6 months and we are still at it. It's been great for both of us in different ways. Toni has become much stronger in her back and core. She's able to do things with confidence that would have cause a lot of apprehension previously. It's been great for me because she can do those things now and I don't have to:) We look forward to keeping this up and enhancing our quality of life with our without the peanut brittle.

I have been working out with Meg from Amanda’s Fitness and couldn’t be happier. She has been working to not only get me in shape generally, but also helping right some wrongs such as strengthening my upper body and aligning it properly to support my bad neck. She is great for a therapy approach as well as general fitness. She comes to my house and has to deal with my very affectionate cat while putting me through the paces with adjustable weights, bands, and other equipment she brings. She is always on time, and is fun to work out with. She also cleans each piece of equipment before she hands it to me, then cleans it again after. I highly recommend!
